Time is one of our materials.

Some materials are bought. Others are crafted. One, however, can only be respected.

To build a ski capable of maintaining its characteristics season after season, fine woods, Titanal, or precision manufacturing are not enough.

It takes time.

It is time that allows the wood to reach its own balance. It is time that transforms a raw material into the foundation upon which to build precision, stability, and emotion. That is why, at Carpani, time is one of the most important materials with which we build every ski.

It is called "core" for a good reason.

The quality of a ski is born from its heart: the wood core.

The material's dimensional stability and its balance over time allow us to select and pair cores with maximum precision, creating pairs of skis that are extremely homogeneous in terms of flex, dynamic response, and behavior on snow.

It is this selection process that allows the two skis of a pair to perform as one, offering the same response, the same progressiveness, and the same feeling of control in every turn.

Every couple is born together.

Perfect balance is the result of experience and precision.

Every core is selected and paired through the experience gained over more than twenty years by Filippo Carpani.

Subsequently, an in-house developed measurement system verifies the elastic response along the entire ski structure, analyzing its flex, torsion, and dynamic progression.

Craftsmanship and instrumental control work together to create perfectly balanced pairs of skis, capable of offering a uniform and predictable response in every turn.

Uniqueness is born from the combination

A ski is not defined by a single material, but by the balance between all the elements that compose it. Thicknesses, geometries, wood types, technical materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes must be chosen and combined with precision. It is in the assembly, guided by experience and the knowledge of each component's behavior, that the ski's character is born: stability, responsiveness, precision, and sensations on the snow.

Anyone can choose the materials. Few know how to put them in harmony.

Calibration System

The system verifies that flex, structure, and dynamic behavior precisely meet the design parameters, minimizing any possible variation between one unit and the next. The result is a perfectly balanced ski, capable of offering control, stability, and consistent response in every phase of the turn.
