Um einen Ski zu bauen, der seine Eigenschaften Saison für Saison bewahrt, reichen edle Hölzer, Titanal und präzise Fertigung allein nicht aus.
Es braucht Zeit.
Holz braucht Zeit, um die richtige Balance zu finden. Deshalb geben wir unseren Materialien die Ruhe, die sie brauchen. Das hilft uns, Ski zu bauen, deren Fahreigenschaften über viele Saisons erhalten bleiben.
Nicht ohne Grund gilt der Holzkern als Seele des Skis.
Die Qualität eines Skis beginnt in seinem Inneren: beim Holzkern.
Ein guter Ski beginnt beim Holzkern. Wir wählen die Hölzer sorgfältig aus und stimmen die Kerne paarweise ab. Dabei achten wir besonders auf Biegung, dynamische Reaktion und gleichmäßiges Verhalten auf Schnee.
So fühlen sich beide Ski eines Paars beim Fahren möglichst gleich an – vom Schwungansatz bis zum Schwungende.

Filippo Carpani bringt mehr als 20 Jahre Erfahrung in die Auswahl und Abstimmung der Holzkerne ein.
Danach prüfen wir mit einem selbst entwickelten Messsystem Biegung, Torsion und dynamisches Verhalten über die gesamte Skilänge.
Handwerk und Messung ergänzen sich. So stellen wir sicher, dass beide Ski eines Paars ausgewogen und berechenbar reagieren.

Fiber Mix
Research is not about adding materials, but about finding their balance.
For over twenty years, Carpani has been experimenting with and developing advanced combinations of technical fibers, selecting the most suitable ones each time for the performance desired from every model. Each fiber is chosen, tested, and integrated into the ski's structure so that it contributes precisely to the overall balance, improving responsiveness, stability, vibration control, and turning quality.
Because innovation does not come from the number of materials used, but from the ability to make them work together in perfect harmony.
Titanal Cut
Every turn entry is born from a balance studied in minute detail.
A series of calibrated cuts in the Titanal layer, developed through laboratory tests and verified on snow, allows for precise control of the tip's behavior during the initiation phase.
The position, shape, and size of each cut are designed to promote progressive deformation and controlled torsion of the front part of the ski. The result is a more natural and intuitive turn entry, more progressive edge grip, and a smoother transition between one turn and the next.
Because precise steering does not depend on a single detail, but on the harmony with which each detail contributes to the ski's behavior.

Das System misst Biegung, Aufbau und dynamisches Verhalten. So reduzieren wir auf ein Minimum allfällige Abweichungen in der Produktion. Das Ergebnis sind Ski, die gleichmäßig, stabil und in jeder Phase des Schwungs berechenbar bleiben.
